Testimonials
My wedding was on October 10th, 2009 and I couldn't have been happier with the Lodge Auction House. I had looked at a dozen of venues before stumbling across The Lodge website. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but from the minute I stepped into The Lodge, I knew it was the place for me. Steve and Lisa were amazing, incredibly easy to work with, accommodating, helpful, and delivered on all of their promises. I was a particularly anxious bride, and I felt completely comfortable trusting Lisa to take care of everything. Lisa is detail oriented and organized.

My guests are still talking about my wedding and The Lodge. The unique surroundings put everyone in a great mood. Where else are you served hors d'ouvres on a one-of-a-kind Kittinger banquet table? I can't tell you how many people have told us that the Lodge is the coolest reception venue they've ever been to.

We had cocktails in the George Washington room and dinner in the Sapphire room. The George Washington room is perfect for cocktails, and gives guests a place to "escape" from the dance floor after dinner. Our elderly family members moved to the George Washington room after dinner and were very comfortable and able to enjoy conversation more easily. This is also where we had desserts and coffee.

The Sapphire room was completely transformed the day of the wedding. The oblong tables are great because everyone can hear each other. Since your whole table can have a conversation, people get to know each other and have more fun. Dinner isn't stiff and doesn't bring down the mood of the event. I used the chair covers provided by Lisa. They were a great addition. Lisa set-up everything perfectly - place cards, guest book, favors. Before the reception, I was worried about the lighting. Turns out, the lighting was perfect - not too dim and not too bright.

The bouquet toss! My favorite part of the reception. Brides are able to toss their bouquets from the balcony in the Sapphire room. People were surprised to see me on the balcony and we got some great pictures. It was a memorable moment for me and the guests.

The food was great. Our party was catered by Lucarelli's. They treated our head table like royalty at the reception.

I couldn't have been any happier with The Lodge. When planning a wedding, there is a lot of anxiety and you do hear horror stories about vendors not coming through. Knowing that you can trust Lisa and the Lodge to make your day special, should be a great comfort to all brides planning the most memorable day of their life.
