South Buffalo Art & Antique Festival will feature Roycrofters
The South Buffalo Art & Antique Festival is being planned for September 16 and 17, 2006 at the Lodge Auction House, 212 Cazenovia Street near the intersection of Seneca Street.
Partners in planning the event are Assemblyman Mark J.F. Schroeder, The Roycrofters, The Lodge Auction House, and The Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce.
"We'll have an eclectic mix of fine art, photography, jewelry, and pottery, as well as unique gifts," said Lisa Eoannou, one of the proprietors of The Lodge Auction House, which hosted the inaugural art show last fall.
This year's show will include the work of Roycrofters, artisans acknowledged worldwide for their extraordinary craftsmanship. The Roycroft Campus is in East Aurora and was founded by the writer and philosopher Elbert Hubbard.
Artists are invited to apply for space at the festival by visiting www.thelodgeauction.com, or calling 826-0168.
